Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to build or expand their experience within the SEN sector, whether you have worked in a professional capacity or have personal experience supporting individuals with additional needs.
About the Role
You will be supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs in educational settings. This may include working 1:1 or as part of a wider classroom support team.
The role can be both rewarding and challenging. We are looking for individuals who are:

Confident working with children with complex needs
-
Resilient and at times, “thick-skinned” when facing challenging behaviours
-
Patient, adaptable, and proactive in their approach
-
Passionate about making a positive impact every day
Experience in a school setting or previous 1:1 support work is highly desirable.
Start Dates
-
September 2026: Main intake for long-term and permanent opportunities
-
Summer 2026: Trial shifts, short-term placements, and experience opportunities available ahead of September
Location
-
Based in Bristol (BS1)
-
Opportunities available across Bristol and Bath
Our Approach
As an agency, we are heavily focused on quality. We are committed to placing strong, reliable, and engaged individuals into our settings.
Clear communication and active engagement throughout the vetting and onboarding process are essential. The more responsive and organised you are, the quicker we can clear you for work and place you into Lont-Term roles.
Compliance Requirements
To be considered, candidates must:
-
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Child-Only Enhanced DBS, and register it on the Update Service
-
Provide a full working/education history
-
Be able to supply references covering up to 6 years, particularly where you have worked with children
-
Be proactive in obtaining and submitting required documentation
Why Join Us?
-
Opportunities to gain valuable SEN experience before a September start
-
Flexible working across a range of settings
-
Supportive agency with a strong focus on quality placements
-
Clear pathway into long-term and permanent roles
If you are ready to take the next step in your SEN career and can commit to a high standard of professionalism and communication, we would love to hear from you.
