Are you a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for flexible work while exploring your next long-term opportunity?
We are currently supporting secondary schools across Bristol seeking experienced and motivated HLTAs. Whether you’re interested in day-to-day supply work, a longer-term placement, or a permanent role, we can help you find a position that fits your career goals.
Starting on a flexible or supply basis allows you to gain valuable feedback, experience different school settings, and identify the right school environment before committing to a long-term role. This is ideal for Early Career HLTAs, those seeking progression, or experienced staff wanting variety.

Your Role (Flexible / Long-Term)

Support teaching staff in delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4
-
Lead small groups or whole-class activities where required

Assist in planning and preparing learning resources

Support students with varying abilities, including SEND
-
Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour
We’re Looking For
-
HLTA status or equivalent experience in schools
-
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
-
Ability to support learning across multiple subjects
-
Professional and approachable attitude with students and staff
-
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
