Job Summary

Teaching Assistants/ Learning Support Assistant needed for a local College in and around Southampton - This college has develop a high need for LSA's that can help support students with various SEN needs. Needs are ranging from Behavioural and Learning difficulties.

This role would suit candidates who have previous experience of working with in a SEN environment and the Secondary/College Environment

Currently there is no planning, marking, assessments, parent's evenings will be required at this time. You must however be prepared to follow the structure of the department and the need of the pupils.

The right candidate needs to have a keen interest in teaching and the ability to interact with teenagers in a professional manner to create a positive learning environment.

Essentials: Previous experience, LV1 and LV2 in English and Maths (or equivalent), Flexibility and willing to make a difference.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
