Are you a compassionate, patient, and dedicated individual looking to make a real difference in a child's life? We are seeking a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our welcoming and inclusive primary school.

Role: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary School)
Location: Padiham
Start Date: Monday 2nd June 2025
Contract: Full-time
Pay: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour

About the Role:

-          Provide 1:1 support for a child with SEN.

-          Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver tailored learning plans.

-          Use strategies to support communication, behaviour, and engagement in lessons.

-          Help the pupil access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

-          Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment.

What We're Looking For:

-          Experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a school setting.

-          An excellent understanding of children with additional needs.

-          A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach.

-          Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

-          Ability to follow and adapt educational plans and interventions.

-          A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 TA qualification) is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
