Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with an assessment and intervention service that deals with eight secondary schools and academies to provide advice, assessment, therapeutic and educational intervention to ameliorate the difficulties and behaviours of the most challenging, troubled and disaffected children and adolescents so that they can continue in or return to be educated in mainstream schools. The school in question is situated in Sittingbourne and is easily accessible via public transport.


The role is to start ASAP and could be an on-going long term role.


Behaviour Support TA Role;
* To start ASAP
* Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 4pm
* Friendly and welcoming staff and SLT
* Must have experience supporting pupils/people with behavioural difficulties
* Positive Handling (Team Teach/MAPA) training and YOT experience is highly desirable

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
