A Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in East London are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their team of hard working individuals all with the same vision to help young people with challenging behaviour prosper through their education.
The PRU is a challenging but rewarding school with great opportunities to further your career. They cater for all children across secondary age, who are unable to attend mainstream education due to behavioural difficulties. The provision is based in Newham, a thriving part of London with excellent transport links.
The school provides excellent and continued levels of support from highly skilled and specialist staff, including the Senior Management teams.
Our ideal candidate will hold:
• TA/LSA Experience in a PRU or Behaviour unit
• Experience working with children with SEMH
• Willing to work in challenging environments
• Team Teach training
• Youth Work background
