Do you have a strong background in supporting pupils who have been excluded from mainstream school? Are you experienced in dealing with challenging behaviour and motivating students who are disengaged from learning?
Our partner school in Salford are currently seeking to appoint a skilled Behaviour Support Mentor to work one to one with a student who is reintegrating into mainstream provision in January. If you have previously worked with students in a PRU setting, this role would be perfect for you.
• Full time position from January
• Initially for two terms, longer prospects for the appointed Behaviour Support Assistant
• Experience supporting students on a 1:1 basis is essential for this position
• Located in Salford, accessible via public transportation links
• Up to £60 per day, depending upon previous experiences
The large comprehensive Secondary school is located near to the M62 and is situated next to the train station. They have a large behaviour support department and the successful assistant will be fully supported by the school SENCO.
