There is currently an open position requiring an immediate start for a SEMH teaching assistant or SEN teaching assistant in a popular school in the Leicester area. The job role will include offering 1:1 support for young children with SEMH and SEN needs as well as providing classroom support for children with behaviour issues.
- Teaching assistant position for children with SEMH needs
- Weekly pay between £55-£65 a day depending on experience and responsibilities
- Well established school in Leicester area, rated good by Ofsted
- 1:1 working basis with SEMH pupils
Successful candidates will have experience working with children with a range of SEMH and SEN needs including dyslexia or dyscalculia, autism, severe epilepsy, moderate, severe or profound learning difficulties, visual or hearing impairments, mobility problems, behavioural challenges or psychiatric problems.
