Job description
Teaching Personnel are working with a mainstream primary school in the OL16 area that have a new resource provision in school. As such, we are looking to appoint a caring, patient and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The successful candidate will provide consistent 1:1 and small group support, helping children to regulate their emotions, develop positive relationships and engage confidently in learning. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement personalised strategies, adapt provision where needed and contribute to a nurturing, structured environment where every child feels safe and valued.
Experience supporting children with additional needs, particularly SEMH, is desirable. A calm, resilient and compassionate approach is essential, alongside strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and families.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
