Every morning, schools need people they can count on.

Some days those bookings are arranged a week in advance.

Other days, they come through before most people have even finished their first coffee.

I'm looking to build a dependable network of Secondary Supply Teachers and Cover Supervisors to support schools across Brighton and the surrounding areas throughout the new academic year.

No two weeks are ever quite the same.

Early Morning Bookings

One thing that's important to know is that schools often begin contacting me from 6:30am—sometimes even earlier—when they need emergency cover.

If you're available that day, I'll be in touch from around 6:30am onwards.

You don't need to accept every booking, but educators who are responsive and reliable naturally become the first people schools ask for.

You don't need to be available Monday to Friday.

Whether you're free one day a week or every day, consistency and good communication are far more important than the number of days you can offer.

A Child Workforce Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required. If you don't currently hold one, I'll help guide you through the process.

We'll also need references covering a total of 24 months of employment history (where possible), alongside a full employment and education history as part of our safeguarding checks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
