Secondary School Teacher – Weymouth, Dorset
Salary: Dependent on Experience
Contract: Full-time, Long-term (Temporary)
Start Date: April/May 2026
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed Secondary School Teacher to join our friendly and forward-thinking team here in Weymouth. This role offers the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that motivate students and support them in reaching their full potential. You’ll be joining a school that is proud of its community spirit, coastal location, and dedication to high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress to support achievement and development.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
- Contribute to departmental planning, enrichment activities, and whole-school initiatives.
- Uphold strong behaviour management practices and demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for teaching.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
