The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging, well‑planned Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Drive strong student progress through enthusiastic teaching and a broad curriculum
- Use assessment strategies effectively to check understanding and inform lesson planning
- Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment where every student can thrive
- Contribute to curriculum development and the ongoing success of the department
- Participate in wider school life, including clubs, events, and enrichment activities

Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified Science Teacher with QTS, or an ECT nearing completion of training
- Confident teaching KS3 and KS4 Science (all specialisms welcome)

- Reflective, proactive, and committed to ongoing professional growth
- Skilled at building positive relationships and motivating learners of all abilities
Requirements
- QTS (or working towards QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge across Science
- Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
