Job Title: SEMH Learning Support Assistant– Secondary School
Location: Bolton
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time (Agency Role)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you looking for an exciting new challenge where no two days are the same? Then this might be the role for you! We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join one of our specialist secondary schools in the Bolton area. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offered through our agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs in a classroom and 1:1 setting.
  • Assist in the implementation of individual behaviour and learning plans.
  • Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to support student progress.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEMH students in a school setting is essential.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, empathetic approach.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with students and staff.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
