Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a Mathematics Teacher for a School in the Tyne and Wear Region to cover a maternity leave. The role is temporary until July 2019 at the moment however, does have the possibility of being extended. The key responsibilities of a successful candidate will be to plan and prepare lessons that will be delivered across the KS3-KS4 Curriculum.
The School is an 11 to 18 secondary school and sixth form with approximately 1000 students and is based in Newcastle upon Tyne. The school has a thriving community of students, parents, staff and governors who work together to provide an engaging learning environment which encourages students to reach their full potential.
The core values of respect, ambition and determination are demonstrated throughout the curriculum as well as within extra-curricular opportunities. Academic excellence is at the heart of the school and learning is designed to be exciting, stimulating and relevant to students' lives in the 21st century. In the run up to exams in the summer, the school would like a teacher who will be able to jump straight into the curriculum to push pupil attainment.
The School requires for April 2019 a good to outstanding Teacher of Mathematics to join their well established, supportive and innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has a vision for innovative learning and teaching strategies to ensure the highest standards of achievement for our students.
