Summary:
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teaching Assistant within the Burry Port area. We are looking for an individual which has an interest in working within a Secondary School Environment or hold relevant experience in this area The ideal Candidate would be confident and understanding individual looking to make a difference to a pupil within Secondary education.
Job role:
Teaching Personnel are looking for an individual which has experience OR has an interest in working with young adults within Secondary Education (ages 11-18). This role will require an individual which is able to keep young adults engaged and driven by education whilst also helping on a 1:1 basis as and when required. The job role will be both challenging but rewarding as you see development within the pupils and have a play to part in a young adults future education.
- Experience within a Classroom setting of Secondary Students
- A background in Education / Youth Work or equivalent
- The mindset to drive and influence young adults to reach their full potential
- Able to act on instructions left and ensure tasks are completed to a high standard
The School:
- The School is based in Burry Port
- Public transport is nearby and easily accessed, however the ability to Drive is preferred
- The school offers a wealth of opportunity to progress and specialise in subject areas
- Parking available

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
