Role: Secondary School Science Technician
Location: Vale Region
Contract Types: Part- Time, up until Christmas
Rate: £85 - £100 a day
With the new academic year fast approaching, Teaching Personnel are looking to place a qualified and experienced Science Technician for the Vale region. Being passionate about effecting change in a positive way Is key for this role. This role is a Part Time role up until Christmas.
Expectations of the role
The successful candidate would be required to plan, prepare class practical, and maintain the laboratory to their students. You will be required to provide reflective feedback.
Requirements
- A Teaching Qualification (QTS)
- Enhanced Child Only DBS & EWC Checks
- Confident in preparing practical.
- Have experience within the Science department.
- Be adaptable and Reliable.
*Teaching Personnel can assist you with your DBS & EWC Instruction*
Some Key Skills for this role
Lesson Planning: Preparing lesson plans and instructional materials is an essential responsibility. Science technicians need to design engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
Classroom Management: Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment is crucial. Teachers need to establish and enforce classroom rules, manage student behaviour, and encourage active participation.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
