Science Teacher
Location: Erdington
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

We’re looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Erdington — someone who can make atoms, ecosystems and forces come alive for our students. This isn’t just about delivering a curriculum; it’s about creating memorable experiences that shape how young people think, question, and grow.
Role Responsibilites:

Teaching science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

Planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons across Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics

Using practical experiments and real-world examples to bring concepts to life

Tracking student progress and adapting your teaching to meet diverse needs

Contributing to a culture of high expectations, inclusion, and positivity
Role Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science
- Commitment to student achievement and wellbeing
- Ability to create a classroom where curiosity thrives
- A team player who values collaboration and continuous improvement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
