Teaching personnel are searching for a Science teacher for a highly touted secondary school located in Levenshulme.

This is initially a temporary post for the remainder of this academic year, with the potential opportunity to gain a permanent post ahead of the new academic year.

• All Science specialisms (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) considered for this position
• February 22^nd start date
• Pay in line with MPS/UPS GBP25,714 - GBP41,604
• Full time position with opportunity to gain permanent post

Key Duties:

• Required to teach all areas of Science to GCSE level in line with the national curriculum
• Hold a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE classes with students ranging in ability
• Provide engaging lesson plans to inspire students
• Delivering 1:1 or small group intervention sessions for students underachieving

The ideal candidate:

• Ability to teach KS3 and GCSE Science – All specialisms considered for this role
• Be fully committed to taking on full teaching responsibilities inclusive of parents evening and departmental meetings
• Have a track record of delivering outstanding practice and will be able to inspire pupils to reach above and beyond their expected grades
