Do you have experience working SEND students between the ages of 16– 18?
Are you confident in teaching Science to GCSE Level students?
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Secondary Science Teacher to work with students with a variety of Special Educational Needs across the Corbridge area of Northumberland. Newly Qualified Teachers will also be considered.
This role will be full time and will commence within the new academic year (September 2021) until at least Christmas.
The right candidate will have experience in delivering Science Lessons to GCSE Level but will be confident working across KS2 – KS5 Levels as some students will be working at lower levels.
Due to the nature of the provision students may display challenging behaviours, therefore holding a Team Teach qualification will be desirable, yet not essential.
The ideal candidate will also need be Enhanced Child and Adult Workforce DBS registered with the update service, (or willing to apply for one through ourselves) and eligible to work in the UK (right to work in the UK documentation).
You will be responsible for planning the work for the group of students you will be working with, their individual timetables and their assessments.
You could earn between GBP400- GBP520 per week depending on experience, this can be negotiated for long term roles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
