Science Teacher-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

At Teaching Personnel, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science teacher to join our partner schools in the Walsall area. If you’re looking to return to teaching—whether in a flexible or full-time capacity—this could be the perfect opportunity for you! We are specifically looking for a qualified teacher with QTS and experience working with KS5 students to support this school.

Role Responsibilites: 

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Science lessons, predominantly teaching KS5 Physics while also covering Chemistry and Biology across KS3 and KS4.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and tailored support to help all learners succeed.

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and achievement.

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

• Maintain high expectations of student behaviour and academic achievement at all levels.

Role Requirements: 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

• Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level, with a strong focus on KS5

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A proactive and flexible approach to teaching

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
