Science Teacher-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

At Teaching Personnel, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science teacher to join our partner schools in the Walsall area. If you’re looking to return to teaching—whether in a flexible or full-time capacity—this could be the perfect opportunity for you! We are specifically looking for a qualified teacher with QTS and experience working with KS5 students to support this school.
Role Responsibilites:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Science lessons, predominantly teaching KS5 Physics while also covering Chemistry and Biology across KS3 and KS4.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and tailored support to help all learners succeed.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and achievement.

Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Maintain high expectations of student behaviour and academic achievement at all levels.
Role Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
-
Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level, with a strong focus on KS5
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
A proactive and flexible approach to teaching

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
