Due to unforeseen circumstances, our client secondary school in South Manchester is currently looking to recruit an experienced Science teacher from Easter 2019 or sooner if appropriate. This post is until the end of the academic year in the first instance, with a high possibility it will continue into September.

• Full time Teacher of Science post from Easter 2019
• Earlier start available for the perfect candidate
• Until the end of the academic year
• Potential for more progressive role leading into the 2019/2020 academic year
• Pay in line with MPS (£23,720-£39,406)
• Teaching Science up to GCSE level

With plenty of options for public transport including local bus routes and a tram stop a short walk away, this smaller than average mixed secondary school is accessible from a range of areas.

As a Science teacher at our secondary client school, candidates should have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK as well as relevant qualifications. Whilst working at our client school, you will be expected to teach all three disciplines of Science to both KS3 and KS4. Experience teaching General Science up to GCSE level is desirable but not essential. Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
