Job description

A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Salford is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join their team from November 2025, following the October half term break.

This full-time role offers the chance to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with support from a collaborative science department and access to excellent teaching resources. Whether you're a qualified teacher with experience or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain further experience, this school provides a supportive environment for professional growth.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (KS3 & KS4)

  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils

  • Mark and assess in line with the school's feedback policy

  • Support the wider science department with planning and enrichment activities

  • Promote high expectations and positive behaviour in and out of the classroom

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (or pending for ECTs)

  • Subject specialism in any Science discipline

  • A passion for science education and student progress

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
