KS3/KS4 Science Teacher – Alternative Provision – Dorset
Location: Dorset (SEMH Provision)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a specialist alternative provision in Dorset, catering to secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school is committed to providing a supportive and tailored education environment for pupils who have struggled in mainstream settings.
We are seeking a passionate and resilient KS3/4 Science Teacher to join the team on a full-time basis from September.
About the Role:

Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

Adapt your teaching to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH
-
Create a calm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment

Work closely with a committed team of staff and support professionals

QTS/QTLS

Experience working with young people with SEMH or challenging behaviour (desirable)

Strong subject knowledge and creative delivery skills
-
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
