Experienced Science Teacher – Alternative Provision (Full-Time, September Start)
Location: New Milton
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you a passionate and resilient Science Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Science Teacher to join our dedicated team at a specialist Alternative Provision catering to secondary-aged pupils. This is a full-time role starting in September, ideal for someone with a strong understanding of how to engage and support students with additional needs and challenging behaviours.

About the Role:

You will:

  • Deliver engaging and accessible Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.

  • Plan, assess and differentiate learning to meet the varied needs of our students.

  • Work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team to promote both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.

  • Help foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

About You:

  • A qualified Science Teacher (QTS/QTLS required).

  • Experience working in an Alternative Provision or similar setting is essential.

  • Skilled in managing behaviour and building trust with students who may have faced barriers to education.

  • Calm, compassionate, and committed to helping every learner succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
