Science Teacher
Manchester
Contract type: Full-time, Temporary, Maternity Cover
Start date: January 2019
Salary: MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406)

Due to a staff maternity, Teaching Personnel now has a vacancy for a successful Science teacher to join our partner school in January 2019. The successful Science teacher will:
- Teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science across a range of abilities
- Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
- Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
- Plan and teach well structure lessons
- Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
The school is a large successful boys school in South Manchester with over 1000 pupils on roll. The school is a thriving school which is currently at a particularly exciting point in its history. The opportunities are challenging and potentially extremely rewarding. Achievement in the school is good, with examination results at good levels on a regular basis in recent years. The school aims to provide a rich educational experience through which young people of all ages, abilities, backgrounds and talents can develop successfully as individuals, as students and as future citizens.
