Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Science Teacher for the new academic year after to a recent departure within the department due to personal circumstances. This is a full time Science teaching position in Chichester delivering KS3 Science across the curriculum and KS4 Biology, Chemistry or Physics depending on your Science specialism.
Large in size with around 1100 students this mixed comprehensive School consistently achieves high results, and historically the Science department achieves above national average. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a settled Science department that is thriving and sharing good practices. Located in the attractive city of Chichester, close to the City Centre, the School enjoys excellent local amenities and transport links.
The Academy Trust are a multi-academy Trust with a reputation for high attainment and standards amongst their Academies. You will enjoy collaboration with other Schools both locally and nationally, enabling Staff of all levels to share ideas and best practises. You will also be supported throughout your career, by the SLT and HOD.
Role highlights;
- Full time Science teaching post with the potential to earn a school based contract
- Teaching in a Good graded Ofsted school
- Pay ranging from £95-£160 per day dependant on your experience
- Regular CPD and training opportunities, from both Teaching Personnel and the Academy Trust
The school are open to applications from NQTs or a more experienced Scientist looking to progress in an expanding department. To be eligible for this Science teaching post you will need to have school based references, be qualified and have experience teaching in the UK, as well as being eligible for a fully enhanced DBS certificate.
