Teaching Personnel is seeking a caring and dedicated Education Support Worker to join a specialist primary school supporting pupils aged 3-11 with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

Your Role:

✅ Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
✅ Assist with personalised learning plans and EHCP targets
✅ Encourage communication, independence, and social development
✅ Support sensory, play-based, and practical learning activities
✅ Work alongside teachers, therapists, and SEND specialists
✅ Provide personal care where required

We're Looking For:

✨ Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
✨ A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
✨ Confidence supporting pupils with complex needs
✨ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✨ A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential

Desirable:

➕ Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, or AAC communication methods
➕ Previous experience within a specialist school or care setting
➕ SEND-related qualifications or training
