- Experience as a Support Worker, Care Worker or in a similar support role
- Experience working with individuals with SEN, autism, learning difficulties or complex needs
- A patient, caring and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals to develop and achieve their potential
- A willingness to learn and develop within an educational environment
What you could be doing:
- Supporting pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 or small-group basis
- Helping pupils develop communication, independence and social skills
- Supporting learning and classroom activities
- Providing emotional and behavioural support
- Working closely with teachers and other professionals
- Helping create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
