Safeguarding Support and Lead Roles – Schools Across Northampton

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a range of primary and secondary schools across Northampton to recruit individuals for Safeguarding Support and Lead roles.

These vital positions are ideal for individuals who are driven to create safe, supportive school environments where every child can thrive. As part of the safeguarding team, your responsibilities may include responding to safeguarding concerns, working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), liaising with external agencies, maintaining accurate safeguarding records, and promoting best practices across the school.

We are looking for candidates with experience in any of the following: safeguarding, social work, pastoral support, or youth work. DSL qualification or previous experience in a similar school-based role is highly desirable. Schools value staff who are calm under pressure, compassionate, discreet, and able to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
