Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs?

One of our lovely mainstream primary schools in Boscombe is seeking a confident and dedicated SEN TA to work within their RIGGS unit, providing 1:1 support for a specific child with ADHD. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, proactive and able to build strong, trusting relationships.

The Role:

• Working within a RIGGS (Resource Base) provision

• Providing consistent 1:1 support for a child with ADHD

• Supporting emotional regulation, focus and engagement in learning

• Implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour

• Working closely with the SENCO, class teacher and wider support staff

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has proven experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ADHD

• Is calm, resilient and able to manage challenging behaviours positively

• Understands strategies to support attention, emotional regulation and structure

• Builds strong rapport with children and staff

• Is committed to making a lasting difference to a child’s school experience
