A warm, welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Christchurch is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from September 2026. The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • A caring, patient and compassionate approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff, pupils and parents.
  • Flexibility, resilience and a positive attitude.
  • An understanding of SEN, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD and learning difficulties.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop.
  • A genuine passion for helping children succeed and flourish.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
