Some children need a little extra support to unlock their potential. That's where you come in.
Teaching Personnel is looking for an experienced, caring and dedicated SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming mainstream primary schools in Bournemouth this September.
This isn't just another classroom role—it's an opportunity to become a trusted mentor, role model and advocate for a child who needs consistency, encouragement and someone who truly believes in them.

From celebrating the smallest victories to helping overcome daily challenges, you'll play a vital role in shaping a child's school experience and future success.
You'll also become part of a supportive and collaborative school community where your contribution is genuinely valued.
✨ Your Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support tailored to the individual needs of your pupil.
- Build a positive, consistent relationship that encourages confidence and independence.
- Support learning both inside and outside the classroom.
- Adapt activities to suit different learning styles and abilities.
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Work alongside the class teacher, SENCO and wider school team to deliver personalised support.
- Celebrate progress—big and small—and help your pupil achieve their goals.
