SEN Teaching Assistant | Full-Time | Poole | September 2026 Start
Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity this September? Do you thrive on making a real difference in a child's education and development?
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Poole, who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September.
In this rewarding role, you will provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs, helping them to access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential. You'll play a key role in supporting both their academic progress and social and emotional development, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs and working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure they receive the best possible support throughout their school journey.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, either in a school or similar setting.
- A patient, caring, and resilient approach, with a genuine passion for supporting children to succeed.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to remain calm, adaptable, and proactive in a classroom environment.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and positive learning experience for every child.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
