Reception teacher - Bury

A large two form entry primary school in Bury (BL9) are looking for a reception Teacher to start on the 2nd September 2019. The role will be covering a maternity leave and will carry on until the end of the academic year. Due to the school's EYFS department recently expanding, there is a possibility of going onto a school contract.

The Head teacher is looking for a teacher with recent experience working in an EYFS or reception setting and NQT's or FQT's are encouraged to apply. The Head teacher is looking for someone who is bubbly and enthusiastic and still has a clear passion for raising attainment and can deliver high standards of teaching the school has come to expect from its staff.

The class is said to be of mixed ability with pupils ranging from below entry level to above and everything in between. There is a teaching assistant in the classroom to support pupil's and lead interventions outside the class room and PPA time will be provided to the successful candidate. In return, you will be expected to be a full time member of the school community, planning, marking and evaluating all work and join in extra curricular activities within the school.

The school has a high number of pupils with special educational needs throughout the school and has a specially resourced provision for pupils with severe physical difficulties.

During their last OFSTED report, the school was graded as GOOD and has recently had a large increase in pupils in the EYFS class.
