RE Teacher needed for a GOOD school in Stockport from September 2018
Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working alongside our high achieving partner secondary school located in Stockport to recruit for an RE Teacher ahead of the new academic year. This is a fantastic position for an RE Teacher to join a reputable school and teach students who are passionate about learning.
- Full time teaching position of RE to KS4
- Required to start from September 2018
- Ofsted graded GOOD school
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,917- £38,633)
As a result of internal promotions within the Humanities department, the Head teacher of this popular secondary school is seeking a dedicated RE Teacher to join them on their way to Outstanding.
This is an exciting time to join the school as they go from strength to strength under a newly appointed Head teacher. In the school's most recent Ofsted report the behaviour of the pupils was highlighted to be impeccable. The staff and students are proud of the school and there is a positive ambience in all aspects of school life.
The RE department of the school is a thriving one with GCSE results consistently above the national average. The Head of Department is specifically seeking an RE Teacher who has a proven track record of delivering results at Key Stage 4. The Key Stage 4 course consists of two units- Religion and Ethics through Christianity and Religion, Peace and Conflict through Islam.
Our partner school currently caters for just over 700 pupils but numbers are increasing year on year due to the significant progress made by the school. The large majority of students are from White British backgrounds and the numbers eligible for pupil premium funding are slightly above the national average at the present time.
If you are an RE Teacher who is seeking a new role from September 2018, please send your full CV to Paul via the link below. The Senior Leadership team are looking to meet with interested candidates at the earliest convenience.
