Are you a Psychology graduate looking to start your career in education?
Experienced is desirable but not essential as training will be provided!
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Psychology graduates to take the leap into education, especially among the SEN sectors!
Why Psychology graduates?
We have found that many successful support staff as well as practitioners come in the form of psychology graduates. Psychology students have certain cognitive understanding that is very much desired by SEN Schools. You will also have an awareness of different strategies to help those with SEMH as well as the emotional effects of some learning difficulties.
Working in SEN schools can kick-start your career in Psychology, it is great experience for those who are wanting to explore different career options. Many support staff have gone on to become therapists, counsellors and learning other holistic approaches to improving the negative effects of some learning needs.
We can offer generous rates of pay as well as training. Our schools are also great in aiding professional development and support. We also hope that you will be able to bring an enthusiastic approach and a can-do attitude!
If you are interested, please call Gemma Davies at 01183271595 or apply using an updated CV.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
