Are you looking to take on a new, exciting and rewarding role as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant?
Are you an aspiring teacher? Do you have experience/training in learning support positions? Do you have a background in psychology, SEN or EAL? Have you previously been a Teaching Assistant, HLTA, cover supervisor or had experience working with children?
If you answered YES to any of the above then I would love to hear from you! We have many Teaching Assistant vacancies in supportive schools that will be looking to filling in the coming weeks. We are also seeking candidates for September 2019 so even if you are not immediately looking for a new role please still call as I would be keen to speak to you.
THE ROLE AS A TEACHING ASSISTANT
In these Teaching Assistant roles, there is real room for progression and you are likely to be working with children with special educational needs and even EAL pupils.
There are options for supporting in the classroom and also intervention 1:1 assisting children socially and academically both inside and outside of the classroom.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO APPLY
- Excellent written and spoken English
- GCSE A*-C or equivalent
- Current DBS certificate or the intention to apply (We can help you with this!)
- 2 quality recent references
- Proactive and positive attitude to strive for pupil development
DESIRABLE
- Relative certification/qualification
- University degree with Psychology focus
- Previous experience working with children
- A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car 5 days a week
