Are you a graduate in Psychology, Youth Work or Youth Justice? Do you have experience of working with specific Special Educational Needs such as ASC, SEMH and associated behavioural difficulties?
I am currently working with a number of Special Needs Schools in the Bedford area that are looking for Graduates to join their team as Teaching Assistants!

A number of SEN school's in Milton Keyenes are looking to appoint graduates with an interest in, or experience of, working with SEN pupils. The ideal graduate candidate must have a degree (preferably in Psychology, Youth Work or Youth Justice) and be looking for good experience to further their career in education.
Many of our schools have built great relationships with their local communities, and also encourage you to complete a trial day in their setting.
The positions are working in specialist schools; this may be with a group of students or on a 1-1 basis. You may also be required occasionally to support pupils in focused intervention and/or therapeutic sessions. This will require a degree of patience and understanding concerning the pupil(s) and an ability to be a stable base if support throughout the academic year.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
