Year 2 Teacher – Full-Time | Old Trafford | March Start

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a warm, inclusive primary school in Old Trafford, who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team from March. This is a full-time position, working 8:30am – 3:30pm, ideal for a teacher ready to make a positive impact.

The Role:

• Plan, deliver, and adapt engaging lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum
• Assess and track pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom where every child feels supported and valued
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and best practice
• Engage in ongoing professional development to continually enhance teaching practice

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching Year 2 or Key Stage 1
• Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confident in differentiating lessons to meet a range of learning needs
• Has a solid understanding of the National Curriculum
• Possesses excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using technology to support and enhance learning
