Location: Stretford
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm
Contract: Full-Time

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-respected primary school in Stretford to recruit an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2026.

The Role

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire pupils and support their progress during this important stage of their education.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
  • Adapting learning to meet individual needs
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Supporting pupils as they prepare for their transition into Key Stage 2

About You

The ideal candidate will:

✔ Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

✔ Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2

✔ Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills

✔ Have excellent knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum

✔ Be passionate about supporting every child to achieve their full potential
