We are currently recruiting for a fully qualified Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive 1-form entry primary school in Horwich.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to inspire and support pupils in Key Stage 1. The successful candidate will become part of a close-knit staff team, delivering engaging lessons that help children thrive academically, socially and emotionally. The role will run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of securing a permanent contract with the school from September 2027.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
• Deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Be passionate about helping every child reach their full potential
• Use effective assessment to support pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
• Create a positive, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
