Year 2 Teacher – Part-Time – Billinge Primary School – October 2026 Start

A friendly and welcoming primary school in Billinge is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from October 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a close-knit school community that places a strong emphasis on nurturing pupils’ confidence, independence and love for learning.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum. You will play a key role in supporting pupils as they build on their early learning foundations, particularly in phonics, reading, writing and mathematics. The role will involve planning, preparation and assessment, ensuring lessons are differentiated effectively to meet the needs of all learners, including those requiring additional support.

You will work collaboratively with a supportive KS1 team, contributing to shared planning and whole-school initiatives. The school is looking for someone who can create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, build strong relationships with pupils and parents, and maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
