Primary Teacher for SEND Required for Newcastle School

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a SEND Teacher for a Newcastle school, experienced in supporting students with autism and severe learning difficulties for a SEN school in Newcastle Upon Tyne to start ASAP. The role is temporary initially with the possibility of a long term contract.

Ideally applicants would have experience with ASC and severe learning difficulties (SLD) in a SEN school setting from KS1 - KS2. Additional qualifications such as Team Teach is desired but not mandatory. We would also welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers or Teachers with mainstream Primary experience.

Our ideal candidate will have:

-6 months experience teaching students with ASC and SLD in a mainstream or SEN setting between

-Up to date Team Teach and a good understanding of SEN

-Adaptable across subjects and a good Primary curriculum knowledge

-Qualified Teacher status with a good understanding of differentiation and behaviour management

-Patient and nurturing mannerism
