Dyslexia Teacher for Maternity Cover
A Primary School in Battersea are looking for a full-time Teacher, trained in teaching children with Dyslexia, for a years’ worth of maternity cover, starting in April. The school has very small class sizes, with there only being 30 children in the whole school, and the school specifically welcomes children with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dyspraxia. Every pupil has an Individual Education Target (IET), which is regularly reviewed in response to their needs and achievements, and the school are looking for a Teacher to come in and teach these pupils aged 6-12.
The school are looking for someone who:
- Has training in teaching children with dyslexia
- Has experience working in special schools
- Has a QTS, or equivalent
- Is a good communicator
- Has a positive, can do attitude
- Is ready to get stuck in
- Has a good sense of humour
