About the School

This well known school in Edgware who have received an Ofsted Good report and has recently expanded into a 3 form entry school, accompanied with an on- site nursey usually for siblings of pupils who already attend the main school. The school thrive on student engagement and have a wide range of extra curricular activities available to pupils in an outside of school hours. The school also offers continuous career development for its staff and offer subsidised CPD courses and mentoring for NQT's. The SLT has a strong focus on maintaining the link between the school and student's home offering support to each and every pupil as required.

About the Role

The school are currently looking for two PPA teachers who are comfortable teaching KS1 and KS2. The role will involve covering classes for teachers who will have: NQT release time, preparation and planning and also short term classes. This role offers flexibility to experienced teachers who do not necessarily want to commit to a full class teacher role but do not want to give up teaching completely. In this role you will cover different classes in a variety of year groups covering teachers in a primary based setting; so you will need to have experience teaching EYFS, KS1 and KS2. By actively accessing the needs of the class, you will be able to adapt your teaching style in accordance to the year group you will be teaching. In doing so you will effectively deliver lessons that are engaging and informative. The school actively encourages experimental learning and hire teachers who are able to deliver a creative approach to the national curriculum. You will also be responsible for proving a safe environment for all students within the class and instil a passion for continuous learning.

What we are looking for?

• Qualified Teaching Status
• Minimum six months class based experience
• Currently completing PGCE
• Passionate about Teaching
• Interested in teaching EYFS, KS1 & Ks2

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
