A two-form entry primary school in Wakefield are looking to appoint an experienced fully qualified teacher to cover PPA periods in school and provide intervention sessions to upper KS2 students. The role will start from September 2021 and will be on part-time basis, working 4 days per week. The role is to work alongside the schools current ‘PPA Teacher’ who is moving to part time. You will be required to deliver Maths English and Phonics intervention sessions in a morning, working predominately with the KS2 classes. In the afternoon you will be expected to provide PPA cover on topic lessons. The school is looking for someone well versed in the Key Stage 2 curriculum but will consider an NQT if they have the relevant experience.
The salary is based on a full class teaching day and depending on experience, this could vary between GBP110-GBP140 per day.
