PE Teacher - Rochdale

Teaching Personnel are the market leader for education recruitment, and are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client schools situated in the Heywood area of Rochdale. This Oftsed graded 'Good' mixed secondary school are in need of a full time Teacher of PE to join them from Easter 2019 until at least the end of the academic year.

  • Full time PE Teacher post until the end of the academic year
  • Opportunity for a more progressive role leading into the 2019/2020 academic year
  • Ofsted graded 'Good' Roman Catholic / Church of England secondary school
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)

Situated just a short distance from the M60 motorway, our client school is easily accessible and also features excellent public transport links. In their most recent Ofsted inspection when they were again rated 'Good', Ofsted commented on pupils' behaviour being a strength of the school and the high expectations of all the staff.

Our client school are seeking a highly engaging and inspirational member of staff to join their PE department. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver both practical and theory sessions up to KS4, and there will be opportunities to deliver extra curricular activities. Prospective candidates should hold QTS and have relevant qualifications, and applications will be accepted from both newly qualified and experienced teachers.
