Are you based in the Teesside area and looking for either short term or long-term work?
Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a number of PE teachers who are available for long term placements, temporary flexible placements and supply teaching. Working with a number of secondary schools across the Teesside area Teaching Personnel have a shortage of PE teachers in this area and a high demand. The schools are looking for motivated PE teachers who are available on a flexible basis.
Highlights of this teaching position:
- Newly qualified PE teachers looking for flexible, temporary teaching work
- Fully qualified PE teachers who are available for specific days, whether it be part time or full time
- PE Teachers who are available for a short period of time before another engagement for example
- Any teachers who are looking for their next full time, long term or permanent teaching position as supply gives you the chance to try schools out before applying for role
- Supply teaching on a temporary basis can also often lead to longer term roles given short term requirements becoming longer term needs
Teaching Personnel offer a competitive pay rate for supply teaching with their being numerous other benefits. Generally, planning and marking isn’t required as part of the role of a supply teacher allowing you to arrive at school for 8:30 – 9am and finish at the end of the school day (usually around 3pm). Working in close partnership with the Newcastle and Hexham Diocese offers heavily subsidised professional development courses through Teaching Personnel’s CPD Academy. You will also benefit from access to an online portal where you can manage your own diary, availability and browse a number of upcoming relevant positions.
Highlights of the supply teacher role:
- Competitive pay rate, ranging between GBP95 - GBP120 per day for supply teaching
- Teach at a variety of secondary schools in the Teesside area including Hartlepool, Stockton - On - Tees and Middlesbrough
- Plenty of opportunities to teach as flexibly as you wish and suits your own schedule and availability
- Options to cover across a range of subjects
