Working Hours: Flexible
Pay Rate: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive nursery setting in Huyton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and committed to helping young children thrive during the most formative stage of their development.
Whether you're looking to gain hands-on experience in a nursery or take the next step in your childcare or education career, this role offers a rewarding and nurturing environment to grow professionally. An EYFS Qualification will be necessary, if you do not have this, we offer the course completely free to all our educators.
About the Role:
As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children aged 0–5 in their daily routines and learning activities
- Assisting with play-based learning and lesson preparation
- Providing one-to-one and small group support
- Supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) where required
- Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with young children in a nursery, early years, or care setting
- Is passionate about early childhood development
- Is reliable, patient, and nurturing in their approach
- Is open to undertaking Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- EYFS Qualification will be necessary
- Willing to answer morning cover calls

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
