Hours: Full Days
Contract: Flexible (Day to Day Supply)
Pay Rate: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
We’re currently working with a warm and welcoming nursery setting in Speke, who are looking to welcome a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Practitioner to their team this October.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood education to make a real difference in the lives of children aged 0–5, supporting their learning and development in a safe, nurturing environment.

Your Role Will Include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and support learning.
- Supporting children’s emotional, social, and personal development.
- Observing and tracking progress, maintaining learning journals and contributing to assessments.
- Creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued.
- Working closely with colleagues and parents/carers to support each child’s individual needs.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has experience working with young children in early years settings (nurseries, childminding, social care, etc.).
- Brings a warm, patient, and nurturing approach to childcare.
- Understands EYFS principles and child development.
- Holds a valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply).
- Has a relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or 3 in Childcare/Early Years is desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
